Mystery

Will you paint me a little picture?
Some kind of scenery,
To my specifications will you draw?
An awesome mystery!

Be sure to make an ocean,
A deep blue sea;
Some treasures resting beside,
A coral reef!

You have to make some hills,
With snow covered peaks,
Where life and love stand still,
And only silence speaks!

I also want a swamp,
Full of filth and greed,
You’ll have to use the dullest,
Blacks and greens!

A desert with those dunes,
Of grainy sand,
And crops which seem to prick,
When held in thou hands.

A forest is needed too,
Where the rain just never stops,
And all those creepers-crawlers,
Seem to live and rot.

Don't forget to make the forces,
Of fire, ice and wind,
For this world is not complete,
Devoid of all these little things!

Darling will you paint me,
Some kind of scenery,
Just don't forget to add,
That bit of mystery.
